I know I am a little late on this as the survey closed several days ago.  The question of the month was "Which tablet are you looking forward to?"  The winner: Motorola Xoom.  No surprise there.  Who were the others?

Notion Ink Adam: 11%

As we tweeted earlier today: Although we have heard this rumor before, we are actually surprised (in a good way) that RIM has confirmed that its upcoming PlayBook will support Android Apps.  This is a both a win and a loss for RIM.  Its a win because consumers can access the 200,000+ Android apps.  The PlayBook will be a strong challenger to Motorola's Xoom for the non-iPad tablet crown.  On the

Archos To Launch Next Generation Tablet - Gen 9

TabletConnect had no idea what to expect to when it reviewed the Archos 70.  Previously, Archos had a reputation for building cheap quality Internet tablets.  However, the Archos 70 performed very well in our tests.  With its low cost, we rated it as the best value tablet (not counting the Nook Color which would need to be hacked to become a fully functional tablet).  Now, Archos has provided

As noted in our tweet earlier today, Motorola has officially declared that the WiFi only version of its Xoom tablet will go on sale March 27th.  This was the rumored date so it is no surprise.  Also, no surprise is the selling price of $599. RIM's PlayBook is one step closer to being launched.  The FCC has approved all three WiFi variations (16GB, 32GB & 64GB).  At this point in time, the rumored scheduled launch is for April 10th.  Based on the FCC filings, RIM has requested Confidentiality meaning that photos & user manual are not to be publicly made available until 3/31/11, which is an interesting date.  Maybe it will launch

As our tweet on Twitter noted earlier today, Apple introduced the iPad 2 today to the world.  So what does the new iPad have?  Most of the rumored changes were true.  It will sport a dual core 1GHz A5 chip; dual cameras; HDMI output (although you will need to buy a special adapter); thin body (only 8.8mm compared to the original 13.4mm); and enlarged speaker grill on the back.  What has not
